What makes Frontenac, Frontenac?

It’s a question we’ve been asking you – residents, stakeholders and prospective visitors – through in-depth consultations over the past two months, in an effort to inform a tourism brand expansion. Through interviews, workshops, and creative engagement initiatives, you’ve helped to bring our local story together. Now, you’re invited to get a sneak peek of the results and conclusions, and have your say in what we’ve come up with.

Over the past few months, we've been working hard to answer the question, "What makes Frontenac, Frontenac?", as we seek to write our tourism brand story

Over the past few months, we've been working hard to answer the question, "What makes Frontenac, Frontenac?", as we seek to write our tourism brand story. (not the logo...but the story...the images....the feeling.....the voice....what you think about when you think about Frontenac).

We've done interviews, workshops, creative events and a survey, to hear your answers to that million-dollar question. So, what did we do with all of that input? We've written a few core elements, but before making any big commitments to our interpretation of your ideas, we wanted to get your take...on our take...of your take!

During the November 28 virtual session, we will be sharing the Brand Guidelines with the group and asking your thoughts.

Check out the Ideas section for a preview of key elements we pulled from the Brand Guidelines and we want to hear your thoughts. What do you think? How does it make you feel? The feedback period closes Nov. 29, 2022.

  • Welcome to the Frontenac County Tourism Brand Toolkit. To support the implementation of our Tourism Brand Standards, released in Winter 2022-2023, this document provides tools and resources for you – the Frontenac community and our partners – to adapt and apply the local brand to your own initiatives. Use this tool to complete three exercises:

    1. Defining your brand

    2. Understanding your brand

    3. Aligning your brand

    Let's get started!
