Frontenac Business Survey

Thank you to the 73 Frontenac Businesses that took the time to complete the 2023 survey.

Staff will spend some time reviewing the input received and will update the Community Profile dashboard.

There will be a report doing to Frontenac County Planning and Economic Development Committee to report out on the survey.

The Frontenac County Business Survey is an annual opportunity for current and aspiring business operators in Frontenac to pool valuable insight about their operations, plans, and challenges. It is a chance to collaborate and make your voices heard. We'd like to invite you to complete this year's business survey.

Economic developers and elected officials among all four Townships, the County, and Frontenac Business Services will use your responses to design or refine programs and services tailored to your needs and to the unique qualities of our economic landscape. The survey results will also inform advocacy efforts for enticing new customers and new investment to our region. Relevant results will also be used to update the Frontenac Community Profile dashboard. This is all about building on our economy for the benefit of everyone involved.

The survey takes only about 20 minutes to complete.

There are prizes

If you choose to include your contact information in your survey response, you will earn chances to win weekly prizes through January and a draw for a grand-prize Frontenac County package after the survey closes. The earlier you complete the survey; the more chances to win.

You may participate without identifying yourself if you prefer. But including your identity and the identity of your business helps us to ensure that the survey results yield the most complete, accurate, fair, and useful information.

We also ask separately that you consider registering for EngageFrontenac.ca. There are many sites competing for your registration details, and many risks associated with sharing personal information online. Registering with EngageFrontenac.ca helps us to ensure that site users are authentic to the County and Townships and to localize responses geographically. Becoming a registered user also reduces the risk that EngageFrontenac.ca project results like the Business Survey are not skewed by anyone who chooses to file multiple anonymous responses. Perhaps most importantly, registering on EngageFrontenac.ca allows us to connect with each other online without the risks and limitations associated with social media platforms.

Privacy and your responses

Data collected through this survey by the County of Frontenac will be shared with staff at Frontenac County Economic Development, Township of North Frontenac, Township of Central Frontenac, Township of South Frontenac, Township of Frontenac Islands, and Frontenac Business Services.

No personal information will be made public or shared elsewhere.

Partners may use overall survey results and unattributed quotes in reports, funding applications, or public presentations. Partners listed above may also contact you in follow-up for the purposes of supporting you and your business. Your personal information will not be included in reports to other partners or any public documents; only aggregate information will be shared publicly.
