The Township of South Frontenac is committed to providing recreational opportunities to residents and visitors that foster a healthy community. The Township recognizes that municipal parks are essential to creating and sustaining strong and vibrant communities.
The purpose of this community engagement process is to gain feedback on the court scheduling and allocation process and to receive comments on court facilities/ amenities and programming ideas for future initiatives and projects. This information will assist staff to make fair, equitable, transparent and consistent facility allocation decisions. It will also ensure the process reflects South Frontenac’s unique community needs through consultation with the Recreation Committees, facility user groups, community partners, and other concerned partners.
Please note, that all ideas captured in this community engagement will most likely be unfeasible for immediate implementation. Rather the feedback will be used as a starting point and general direction for future decisions.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to shape recreation in South Frontenac and working towards Council's 2019 – 2022 Strategic Plan and vision to be ‘Natural, Vibrant and Growing – A Progressive Rural Leader’, and the priority to 'be a catalyst for the creation of vibrant, complete communities.’
