Organizational & Service Delivery Improvements - Supporting Strong Municipal Services for the Future

About This Project

The Township of Central Frontenac is implementing a series of organizational and operational improvements aimed at strengthening municipal services, improving coordination, and supporting long-term sustainability.

These improvements are based on recommendations identified through the Township’s Organizational and Service Delivery Review.

Phase 1 focuses on practical operational improvements, additional staff supports and strengthening internal coordination across departments.

Updates will continue to be shared with the public as implementation progresses.

What’s Included in Phase 1?

New Support Positions

To improve coordination, customer service, and operational support, the Township will be recruiting:

  • Procurement & Asset Management Specialist
  • Permit Intake & Records Coordinator
  • Executive Assistant

Public Works Coordination Improvements

Public Works operations will introduce clearer subject matter leadership responsibilities in areas such as:

  • Roads
  • Waste
  • Fleet
  • Facilities
  • Winter Maintenance

Financial Services Update

The Treasury Department will transition to Financial Services to better reflect the department’s responsibilities and services.

Asset Management Improvements

The Township is continuing to strengthen long-term planning for municipal assets including:

  • Vehicles
  • Equipment
  • Facilities
  • Infrastructure
