The Core Goals of Open Farms

  1. Educate consumers about small scale agriculture

  2. Increase awareness of farms and restaurants that serve local food

  3. Provide the opportunity for producers to connect directly with consumers

  4. Provide the opportunity for producers to start new long-term relationships with customers, restaurants, and other producers

  5. Grow our region’s reputation as a local food destination, to:

    • Create interest among visitors

    • Attract new agricultural operations and food and beverage businesses

    • Drive new opportunities for culinary and agri-tourism product development

    Connecting farming & food in Frontenac & Kingston

    Friday, September 5, Saturday, September 6 & Sunday, September 7, 2025

    Locations must be in Frontenac County or Kingston.

    Please complete the Form for your event/experience or location to be included on the Open Farms website.

    • All details related to dates, times, ticket cost, event logistics are the responsibility of the individual site.
    • If it is multiple times for the same event on the same day, please use one form.
    • Ticketing - If you are ticketing your event, be sure to add your ticket link. [If you change your ticketing link, be sure to let Debbi know as it breaks the links]

    Follow Up Survey

    • We need you to complete a survey after the weekend so we can report out on the success. This will impact funding and resources for next year, so please make sure to complete the survey. 
    • We will share the survey on Monday, September 8. 

    If there are some missing details from your event/experience, please note on your form there is more to follow.
