State of the Waterfront
Thank you for participating in this survey. Your input is essential in helping to shape future policies and priorities for the waterfront in Frontenac County.
Frontenac County and its four partner townships are exploring the use of a Community Planning Permit System (CPPS) to guide future development on waterfront properties. The CPPS streamlines several planning and municipal approvals into a single, more efficient process. It offers a balanced approach—helping to protect shorelines and water quality from incompatible development while also enabling straightforward applications to be approved at the staff level.
As part of this work, we want to hear from you -- how you use the waterfront, what you think is important to protect for the future, and any concerns you have about development along the shoreline.
This survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
