Justin Bromberg appointed CEO of Frontenac Municipal Services

The board of directors of the Frontenac Municipal Services Corporation (FMSC) has appointed Mr. Justin Bromberg as Frontenac Municipal Services’ first Chief Executive Officer.
“Frontenac Municipal Services is a critically important ingredient to bringing communal wastewater and water services to towns and villages in Frontenac,” says Frances Smith, President of the Frontenac Municipal Services Corporation, and Mayor of the Township of Central Frontenac. “Mr. Bromberg has the right skills and experience to lead the organization through these next, most-important first steps. Congratulations, Justin. It’s good to have you with us.”

Bromberg serves as Manager of Government Relations for the Western Ontario Wardens’ Caucus. He served previously as Project Manager for the City of Kingston, and Chief of Staff and Communications Manager for the United Counties of Prescott & Russell. He holds a B.A. in Communications and Journalism from Concordia University.
Communal services are right-sized water and wastewater systems that serve clusters of homes and businesses in areas where traditional municipal water and wastewater systems are unfeasible or prohibitively expensive. Using communal systems can help to stimulate economic investment in rural areas like Frontenac by making way for subdivisions, business parks, apartments, and more. New building projects using communal services approaches are under consideration for development in Verona, Sharbot Lake, and Marysville.
The Frontenac Municipal Services Corporation was established in November 2023 to oversee and regulate the installation and operation of communal services in Frontenac.
