Since the early days of amalgamation, our strength has been our community. It’s been 25 years since the former districts of Bedford, Loughborough, Portland and Storrington amalgamated to form the Township of South Frontenac. We are proud of our accomplishments and what we’ve achieved together as a community.
This site is a place for us to celebrate South Frontenac’s past and future. What do you think makes South Frontenac a great place to live, work and play? What are the biggest changes you've seen in the past 25 years and what are you most excited about for the future? Share your comments and ideas in the forum, or post a picture of something that has happened here you are proud of in the past 25 years. Let’s celebrate this great place we are proud to call home!
To honour the origins of the Township, the South Frontenac Museum has curated a special exhibit on the 25th anniversary of amalgamation. Be sure to drop by the museum or watch for its pop-up display at events throughout the summer and fall.
We hope you return to this site and watch our newsfeed for updates and news as we celebrate throughout the year.
