Advanced voting will start October 19^th at 9:00 am and will continue until October 26^th at 8:00 pm. Electors will be able to vote anytime including weekends during this time period.

The Voter Assistance Centre will be located  at the Township office. It will be open from October 19^th to October 23^rd from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm and October 26^th from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm.

Anyone providing an endorsement signature must be eligible to vote in the municipality on the day that they signed the endorsement. In addition to their endorsement, they will also be required to sign a declaration that they are eligible to vote in the municipality.

A person who is eligible to vote in the municipality may provide endorsements to as many candidates as they would like and may endorse candidates for any office on the municipal council.

A person who is running for a ward councillor office may submit signatures from voters who do not live in that ward.

Eligible candidates for municipal elections must be:

• A Canadian citizen and at least 18 years old 
• A resident of the municipality, a non-resident owner or tenant of land in the municipality or the spouse of such non-resident owner or tenant
• Not legally prohibited from voting; and not disqualified by any legislation from holding municipal office.

Eligible voters for municipal elections must be: 

• A Canadian citizen and at least 18 years old
• A resident OR a property owner or tenant OR the spouse of an owner or tenant in the municipality
