Shauna Dunn appointed Deputy Chief, Professional Standards

Shauna Dunn was appointed Frontenac Paramedics’ Deputy Chief of Professional Standards, effective September 21.


Dunn recieves her Deputy Chief’s epaulettes from Frontenac Paramedics Chief Marc Goudie, and Deputy Chief Operations Jeremie Hurtubise, at Frontenac Paramedics headquarters, September 21.

Dunn brings more than 21 years of experience as a Primary Care Paramedic with Frontenac Paramedics, 10 years of leadership experience as President of OPSEU Local 462, has served as Superintendent of Performance Standards, and most recently as Acting Deputy Chief of Professional Standards.


She has contributed to several workplace committees, supported the development of future paramedics as a preceptor, and completed a secondment to OPSEU as a Staff Representative. In addition to her paramedic qualifications and career experience, completed the LEADS Learning Series and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University. She is working towards her Canadian Patient Safety Program Certificate.
