Groundwater Supply and Sewage Disposal Investigation

March 24, 2026: Cambium Inc. is currently carrying out several groundwater supply and sewage disposal investigations as part of the background investigations for the Verona Housing Water and Wastewater Class Environmental Assessments underway. As part of this study work, Cambium is completing a 72 hour pumping test on an existing well on the property from March 24 through March 27, 2026. This pumping test will be discharging at a rate greater than 50,000 litres per day and is therefore registered on the Environmental Activity Sector Registry (EASR) with the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks. The EASR registration number for the test is 1000425349.

Public notices have been hand delivered to properties in accordance with the Ministry’s water taking regulations. Only properties located within 400 m of the test site will receive the notice otherwise. Cambium’s team will be actively monitoring several private wells on properties near the test site to monitor for any negative impacts during this procedure.
