Water and Wastewater Servicing Presentation

At the November 14, 2023 Council meeting, J.L. Richards & Associates Limited presented its findings on water and wastewater options for the Verona Master Plan. Some of the alternatives they identified were drilling or reusing existing a groundwater well within the site, taking water from Verona Lake to be treated on site or at a new facility adjacent to the lake or drilling a groundwater well off site.

The goal would be to ensure potentially proposed groundwater wells and subsurface wastewater treatments do not impact existing groundwater wells in the area.

A public meeting to present the findings will be held in early 2024. We've posted the presentation in the documents pane.
