Survey Results & Public Meeting

Thank you for participating in the County of Frontenac survey – ATV Trail Access, through our Engage Frontenac. The survey, which was open from May 24 to June 21, 2023, is now closed and we are no longer accepting submissions.

There were 867 responses to the survey, with 50.4% in favour of the request, 47.4% opposed to the request and 2.2% unsure or desiring more information.


The full survey results have been included as part of a report for the County’s Planning and Economic Development Committee on July 5, 2023. The report is part of the public agenda at this meeting and will be used to make a recommendation to County Council. The report and public agenda is now available on the County’s Civic Web Portal.

During the Planning and Economic Development Committee meeting, there will also be a public meeting on the ATV Access on the K&P Trail.

Members of the public wanting to provide comments on any of the agenda items can submit written correspondence by emailing, Richard Allen, Manager of Economic Development, at rallen@frontenaccounty.ca. We encourage all members of the public and applicants to submit their comments via writing so that Committee members may view them in advance. Comments may be submitted up until the start of the meeting. Should you wish to speak at the meeting, you can register at the door.

Virtual Participation

While residents are encouraged to make written submissions or in person delegations to the committee, members of the public will also be able to provide verbal comments at committee meetings through Zoom. Interested residents can register by visiting:

Upon registering for the meeting, members of the public will be emailed a user specific link for the Zoom meeting. Registration will be available until the start of the meeting.

If you wish to speak at any time during the meeting, please follow this process:

In the meeting/webinar controls, click Reactions , then click Raise Hand .The host will be notified that you've raised your hand.If the host allows you to talk, you may be prompted to unmute yourself. While unmuted, your profile picture and name are displayed to the host and panelists.Note: Only your name is displayed to other attendees.
  2. In the meeting/webinar controls, click Lower Hand to lower it, if needed.This will not mute yourself if you are unmuted.
