Frontenac County Council denies ATV access extension request

On December 13, 2023 Frontenac County's Planning and Economic Development Advisory Committee received the requested information from County staff regarding safety, liability, bylaw enforcement, additional use data, comparable trails from other jurisdictions and the status of the Verona Pilot Project. The report and relevant appendices are available as part of the public agenda posted on the County's Civicweb Portal.

After reviewing the report, the committee advised Frontenac County Council to deny the request for extended ATV access on the K&P Trail between Verona and Harrowsmith. The full committee meeting is available for review on the County's YouTube Page.

At it's regular meeting on December 20, 2023, the Council of the County of Frontenac confirmed this recommendation and denied the request to extend access for ATVs on the K&P Trail, between Verona and Harrowsmith.
